Welcome! My passion is High Dynamic Range Imaging and Underwater Photography (although they're pretty much mutually exclusive since HDRI requires a tripod - something that isn't very easy to implement underwater). I'll be sharing my adventures as well as some of my recent shots on this blog. Enjoy and feel free to leave a comment! I look forward to meeting you here!
Welcome! I'm glad you're here! Photography has been an important part of my life - since I was very young! I remember earning my photography badge in Girl Scouts when I was 1O. I took my Kodak Instamatic camera to the local mall where I took shots of the traveling Sinclair Oil Company Dinosaur Exhibit. I carefully photographed each life-sized model (or at least I think they were life-sized - they looked awfully big to me). Since that time, I studied photography at Georgia Tech while completing my B.S. in Industrial Design, and I worked as the photography lab assistant, spending many blissful hours in the darkroom.
These days, I'm an avid digital photographer. I have fallen in love with High Dynamic Range Imaging and most of the shots I share here (with the exception of the underwater pieces) are HDRI. I'll be talking about my HDRI adventures and sharing some of my experiences with you on this blog. I also maintain a photography blog on Wordpress.com. You can see many of my shots here. And while I have chosen some of my favorites in the galleries available, most of the shots that you see on this blog or the Wordpress blog can be made available for purchase. Just let me know on the contact page.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my work! I hope you enjoy it as much I enjoyed creating it.
